Retired From Erlanger After 32 Years

Wanda Ruth Brown
Wanda Ruth Brown, 79, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, October 6, 2008 in an area health care facility.

Ms. Brown was born May 6, 1929 and was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County.

She retired from Erlanger Hospital with 32 years of service and was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She attended Indian Springs Church of God.

Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel H. and Lillian V. Robbins Brown, two brothers, Rembert Brown and Private First Class D.H. Brown, three sisters, Eunice Wilson, Ollie Young and Doris Young.

Survivors include her special friend, Betty Summers, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Max Kessler and Rev. Johnny Yeoman officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Travis McDonough, Josh Roach, Jody Roach, Doyal Young, Danny Yeoman and Tommy Yell serving as pallbearers.
