St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church Observes Blessing Of The Animals posted October 6, 2008
95 parishioners plus pets attended the event that is held each year at this time. Parish rector, the Rev. George Choyce and Deacon Peter Kanyi blessed the dogs, cats, and gerbils as their owners came forward during the service. Regular Sunday services are held at St. Timothy’s 630 Mississippi Ave., Signal Mountain at 8 a.m. in the Chapel, 9 a.m. on the lawn, weather permitting, and 11 a.m. in the Nave.
