Signal Mountain Military History Group Meets Oct. 17 posted October 7, 2008 The Signal Mountain Military History Group will show the movie “To Hell and Back” on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Mountain Arts Community Center, at 7 p.m. The showing is open free of charge to the public. The movie is the true-life story of America’s most decorated hero of World War II. There will be a short introduction about the life and career of Audie Murphy before the movie and question/answer/discussion time after the movie. The Signal Mountain Lions Club will offer popcorn and soft drink refreshments. The Military History Group has been meeting for several months at the MACC to discuss a variety of military history topics. This is an informal group of local residents that share a common interest in history and military matters. All residents are invited to attend the movie the event. |
