Johnny "Barney" William Barnett died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, John William Barnett; and his sister, Mary “Babe” Shehadi.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta G. Barnett; daughter, Allisha Barnett of South Pittsburg; mother, Margaret Barnett and sister Terry Gist both of Stoneham, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 p.m., Central on Friday. Funeral services will be on Saturday, at 2 p.m., Central, both at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
