Stella May Terry, 100, died unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, Oct. 7, 2008, at Grandview Medical Center.
She was a member of Morgansville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by husbands, John Terry and John Hamrick; son, Herman Hoyt Hamrick; grandson, Steven Hamrick; stepson, James Terry; parents, Jeff and Mary Ellen Pickett; sisters, Delzini Turner, Almeda Powell, Lemma and Arlene Pickett; brothers, Riley, Ben, Henry Pickett.
Survivors include her daughters, Katherine Rini, Avon, Ohio, Johnnie Mae Holloway, Whitwell, and Vera Anderson, Jasper; two sons, Kenneth Terry, Whitwell, and Dan Terry, Hixson; stepdaughters, Lois Kilgore, Whitwell and Ruth Perry; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Thomas, Whitwell; brother, Sam Pickett, Whitwell.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel, with Minister Tommy Turner officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-9 p.m. CDT and Friday from 4-9 p.m. CDT.
