She was a long time member of Pilgrim Way Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Ga. She was also a member of the National Poet Society; a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Leonard Culberson.
Survivors include her daughters, Sue and Chris Carpenter, of Chattanooga; Peggy Croft Randall of Vero Beach, Fl.; sons, Samuel Croft and Melvin Croft, both of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren, Angie, Chris Jr., Brandy, John, Melissa, Davy, Lewis, Stacey and Michael; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Bill Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
