Richard Lamb, 56, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in a local hospital. He was born August 29, 1952 in Hahira, Georgia.
Mr. Lamb was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Stafford Lamb.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Col. William Hal Lamb Jr. and Mrs. Eleanor H. Lamb, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; brothers, Hal Lamb, III and his wife Lee of Atlanta; Dan Lamb and his wife Toni of Knoxville; stepsisters, Kathy Singleton and her husband, John of Kingsport, Tn.; Dorothy Chappell and her husband, Stacy of Greensboro, N.C.; stepbrother, John Wilson and his wife, Ashley of Chapel Hill, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the East Chapel with Joel Davenport officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service.
