He was born in Claxton, Tn., and was a member of Carpenters Local #74. Dale loved people, was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and garden.
Survivors are his wife, Edna Albritton Jenkins; two children, Belva Jenkins and Dexter B. Jenkins, both of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Yolanda Fernandez, Jonathan B. Jenkins, Mykel D. Jenkins, and Caitlyn Jenkins; and a brother, Don Jenkins of Riceville, Tn.
Services will be held at 4p.m. on Saturday, at the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, and from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
