Authorities Searching For Her Boyfriend

The 31-year-old victim, Melissa Hoover, was shot at least four times by her boyfriend, according to a witness.
Ms. Hoover was found lying in the road dead.
The incident happened at 7709 Shorttail Springs Road.
County officers were seeking to find Malcolm Witherow, 57, on a murder warrant obtained in General Sessions Court. Witherow was later located at the Moccasin Bend Mental Health facility.
He was charged with first-degree murder and taken to the County Jail. No bond was set.
The witness said Witherow told the girlfriend before he shot her, "I can't keep my promises to you any more."
