Stolen Vehicle Leads To Pursuit And Arrest posted October 10, 2008
Bradley County Sheriff's Deputy Travis Smith located the vehicle at Bates Pike and APD 40 and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle sped away in an attempt to elude the officer. The pursuit continued to Oak Grove Elementary School where the vehicle went behind the building and the driver fled on foot. He was taken into custody by BCSO deputies and identified as Kenny Antonio May, 46, of Washington Avenue. May is charged with felony evading arrest, theft over $1,000, and driving on a revoked license. The BCSO recovered the vehicle without damage and returned it to the owner. |
