Works On Paper, an exhibit featuring the pieces of seven artists working exclusively with paper, will open at Tanner-Hill Gallery on Oct. 24, with a reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The show will include works by the following artists:
Barrett Brewer
Kaaren Engel
Geri Forkner
Jake Kelly
Juanita Tumelaire
Frank Zirbel
The dates of the exhibit are Oct. 24-Nov. 21. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Friday from noon-5 p.m. and by appointment.

Geri Forkner, one of the participating artists, is an art teacher from Atlanta. "Twisting Words" is her visual commentary on contemporary interpretations of the Bible in American society. Ms. Forkner states, "Twisting Words is a cautionary statement. This series began as an attempt to deal with moving into an area of the Bible belt where even agreeing to disagree is not OK."
