Author of The Professor Of Narnia Launches His New Book In Chattanooga

The author of The Professor of Narnia – The C.S. Lewis Story will be in Chattanooga on Friday.

Lewis scholar Will Vaus has created a fascinating and historically precise portrayal of Lewis, one of the most beloved authors of the 20th century, it was stated.

The book "skillfully interweaves the various themes from The Narnia Chronicles with the battles Lewis encountered in his own life, and the lessons learned will benefit every reader."

Targeted for a young readership, The Professor of Narnia is described as "the perfect biography of C.S. Lewis for children by Lewis’s former secretary, Walter Hooper, who has also provided the Foreword for the book.

According to Bruce Edwards, the Editor of C.S. Lewis: Life, Works and Legacy, author Will Vaus “has crafted a wise and winsome book sure to delight readers of all ages.”

Will Vaus specializes in teaching and writing on C.S. Lewis and Narnia and is the founder of three C.S. Lewis Societies. His previous works include Mere Theology: A Guide to the Thought of C.S. Lewis. He holds a B.A. in Drama from UCSD and a M.Div. degree from Princeton Seminary. He and his wife, Becky, live in Virginia with their three sons: James, Jonathan and Joshua.

He will be at Rock Point Books, 401 Broad St., at 7 p.m.
