Bradley Alan Black, 45, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, in a local health care facility.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a graduate of Tyner High School and had attended Chattanooga State and UTC and was employed as a certified nursing assistant. He had also attended Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a member of Worley Masonic Lodge 601 F&AM.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Black and Allison Grace Black; stepdaughter, Holly Rogers; parents, R. Bernard and Bonnie Black, all of Chattanooga; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Lisa Black, Powder Springs, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, at Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Carlton Harper officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the youth ministry of Brainerd United Methodist Church in memory of Bradley Black.
