Francis “Elaine” Lake, 60, died on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008.
She was born in Chattanooga, to the late John and Dorothy Lake, but had lived most of her life in the North Georgia area. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Keown and Katherine Haynes.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara “Bobbie” and Clyde “Sonny” Brown, of Chickamauga, Ga.; special niece, Carrie Keown; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday prior to the service.
The family would like to give a “special thank you” to Mrs. Pauline Holder and staff at the Fort Oglethorpe Nursing Home for all their love, care and support of Elaine.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
