Police said 44-year-old Billy Hendricks was found in a wooded area near Clearview Avenue.
He was being treated for exposure.
City police earlier Sunday said search efforts for the Orange Grove resident had thus far proven unsuccessful.
Sgt. Jerri Weary at the time said, "Given the mental and medical condition of Billy Hendricks, it has become crucial to locate him."
She said STARS and Hamilton County Rescue had set up at 335 N. Seminole to do a more detailed ground search of the area.
Volunteers for the search were asked to gather at that location.
He was last seen at 5:30 p.m. Friday in a neighbor's back yard in the 300 block of N. Seminole about a block from his group home.
Police said Mr. Hendricks is on medication for seizures, and he needs to take the medication every couple of days.
Mr. Hendricks has a fear of concrete, and will not walk on sidewalks or the street. The last time he walked away he traveled through back yards and was located sitting on a neighbor's back porch.
