What To Remember On Election Day - And Response (2)
posted October 13, 2008

Here's what voters need to remember on election day.

The Obama/McCain Big 5 focus points:

... Liberal judges on the Supreme Court. No way. Vote McCain.

... A trillion dollars in new spending and lots of new taxes. No way. Vote McCain.

... Lose our gains in Iraq and embolden Iran. No way. Vote McCain.

... A tire gauge for badly needed energy resources. No way. Vote McCain.

... Bill Ayres sleeping in the Lincoln Bedroom. No way. Vote McCain.

A less partisan way to do this is to:

1. View both Presidential candidates equally, look at their views and then decide who will better bring change needed for our country.

2. Look at both Vice-Presidential candidates. Look at their records and determine if the worst case scenario should happen, who is best qualified for the Presidency.

3. Think for yourself and not let some political pundit vote for you.

Remember that spreading untruths and being angry is not good for anyone, especially for our country.

Let's support the next President regardless who gets elected. We are all in this together and together is how we will keep our country safe and prosperous.

Bravo to Jerry Grunden. Anyone that has known me for any length of time knows there are two things that I refuse to discuss or debate with anyone, those being religion and politics. I have found that having different views with either will cause bad feelings between the best of friends and I treasure each and every one of mine.

There are those out there that will vote for a party other than voting for the person. People should look at the issues facing America and make a decision as to who they think will be the better leader over the next four years other than just voting for the party.

Both candidates have made good and bad points so far. I feel that at this point America has one foot "in the hand basket" already and we need leadership that is able to pull it out by the bootstraps.

I for one refuse to just vote for anyone simply because they are Republican or Democrat. Everyone has that same right in America, all they need to do is think for themselves and exercise that right.

And on a final note, if you choose not to vote for whatever reason, be very, very quiet for the next four years. You had the chance to make a difference.
