CCS Wins Middle School Soccer, Cross-Country Title

The CCS Lady Chargers soccer team captured the first ever SETAC conference championship with a 4-1 win over Athens Jr. High last Thursday.

The Lady Chargers finished their season with a 6-5 record but were undefeated in the SETAC league.

Congratulations to Coach Doug Jipping and Coach Bryant Black and all the Lady Chargers soccer team members for a great season.

The CCS girls cross country team also won the SETAC championship for this 2008 season. The girls competed against Chilhowee, Ocoee, Lake Forrest, and Athens Jr. High. Their championship race took place at Fletcher Park in Cleveland.

Congratulations to Coach Ian Work and the team members of the Lady Chargers cross country team for a great season.
