Carolyn Kaye Tucker, 58, of Menlo, Ga., died on Sunday October 12, 2008, in Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Kaye was born May 4, 1950, in Trion, Ga., the daughter of the late Norman Lester Tucker and Jessie Mae Hall Tucker. She was employed with Mount Vernon Mills as a Supervisor, and was a member of the Alpine Community Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Jessie Mae Tucker; nieces and nephews, Benji Stanfield, Brandon & Autumn Davis, Kristin & Brandon Croy, great niece and nephew, Allysabeth Mae Croy, Levi Stanfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty & Charles Davis, Vicki & Wayne Boyd; special cousins, Dennis & Jeannie Tucker, Jason & Rebecca Tucker; and many other friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Alpine Community Church with Rev. Tommy Pledger officiating with interment in the Alpine Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Martin, Ralph Tucker, Tom Brown, Brandon Croy, Mike Martin, Lynn Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Mount Vernon Packing Department, Elbit Inspection, Alpine Community Church Members.
Miss Tucker will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. Miss Tucker will also lie in state at the church Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour.
