The Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association is a group of lawyers primarily engaged in defense litigation, who have the opportunity to exchange ideas, techniques and information through their association. TDLA strives to improve trial practice by supporting high standards for litigation practice and courtroom manners within the adversarial system of jurisprudence.
Mr. Dooley has been associated with the firm since 1987 and became a member in 1992. He practices all areas of litigation with emphasis in transportation, workers’ compensation, employment law, premises liability, products liability and insurance coverage. He is regularly invited to lecture on Tennessee workers’ compensation and tort liability to risk managers, human resource administrators and insurance claims adjusters all over the country. Mr. Dooley served as president elect of TDLA from 2007-2008 and secretary/ treasurer from 2006-2007. He also serves as the Tennessee State representative to the Defense Research Institute from 2005-2008. Mr. Dooley is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
