A top-rated Elvis Presley impersonator from Chattanooga has pleaded guilty to patronizing prostitution and been given a diversion.
Matthew A. Cordell can have the charge expunged after a year if he gets in no further trouble.
Cordell appeared before Criminal Court Judge Rebecca Stern.
His website said he has been performing concerts and portraying the King of Rock n Roll in plays and concerts for more than 15 years.
It says he knows about 500 songs by heart and performs at the Elvis Presley Museum in Pigeon Forge.
He has performed across the country. He was ninth in the national Elvis competition in Las Vegas in 2003 and the next year he won the National “Tribute to The King” competition in Kansas City.
