Pickett, Murray Scored 3 Touchdowns Each For Baylor

Brandon Pickett scored on an 8-yard run in overtime and Baylor defeated Lincoln County, 41-36, in a high school football game Friday night at Baylor.
Brett Murray had a sensational game for Baylor, scoring on an 87-yard kickoff return and two interception returns of 10 and 83 yards.
Baylor also got a 4-yard touchdown run from Pickett, and a 12-yard touchdown run from Pickett, giving him 3 scores for the night.
Tanner Taylor kicked five extra points for the Red Raiders.
Baylor stormed to a 21-7 lead at halftime. The Red Raiders moved the lead to 28-7 when Murray returned a touchdown 10 yards. Lincoln County then scored, but Baylor moved ahead, 35-13, on Murray’s 83-yard interception return.
Lincoln County then scored three straight touchdowns and added two conversions to tie the game at 35.
With just six seconds left in the game, Lincoln County tried a field goal but it was blocked by Baylor’s George Bock, sending the game into overtime.
Pickett then sealed the win with his 8-yard run.
Sam Williams ran for 138 yards on 20 carries for Baylor and Pickett had eight runs for 42 yards and three touchdowns.
