Jeff Jennings Earns CCIM Designation
posted October 27, 2008

Jeff Jennings, CCIM of NAI Charter, has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. A CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate and an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor and user.

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals after successful completion of four core courses (and electives) that incorporate the essential CCIM skill sets: financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. Following the course work, candidates must submit a portfolio of 30 closed and qualifying transactions showing a depth of experience in the commercial investment field. After fulfilling these requirements, candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive examination to earn the CCIM designation. This designation process ensures that CCIMs are proficient not only in theory, but also in practice.

The CCIM designation is the most coveted and respected designation in the industry, and one often referred to as the Ph.D. of commercial real estate. Only six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide have earned the CCIM designation.
