Federal Judge To Kickoff Legal Program For Brainerd Students
BlueCross, Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel Host Student Workshop

Criminal justice career track students from Brainerd High School will get the chance to work alongside local attorneys and other legal professionals as part of the Streetlaw, Inc. Corporate Diversity Pipeline Program.

Lawyers from BlueCross and Chambliss, Bahner and Stophel are hosting the workshop which is the conclusion of an educational series designed by the nonprofit organization Street Law, Inc. The program is designed to encourage diversity in the legal profession. The group provides education about law and democracy throughout the United States as well as in over 40 countries worldwide.

The workshop will be held Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, 801 Pine St.

Here is the agenda:

8:30 a.m. Welcome and Intro by Chief Judge Curtis Collier for the Eastern District of Tennessee

8:40 a.m. Workshop sessions

11:20 a.m. Career fair at BlueCross

Noon- 1 p.m. Chambliss, Bahner and Stophel law firm tour and career fair
