Enjoy Autumn in Chattanooga with the following downtown events happening through Monday, Nov 17.

The 33rd annual YMCA Christmas Gift Market will be held this Tuesday through Thursday at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Market hours are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday. For more information call 266-YMCA.

Area high school seniors have an opportunity to speak to college recruiters and obtain instant scholarship offers to major colleges and universities this Wednesday, at the Infinite Scholars Scholarship Fair hosted by the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. This second annual scholarship fair will be held at the Urban League on Martin Luther King Boulevard from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Children's Advocacy Center of Hamilton County presents its 7th annual benefit concert, "A Song for the Children" featuring Vince Gill, this Thursday. The Chattanooga Track Club and Tennessee Jr. Miss will host the High Heel Race and 5K Run on Saturday at the Sports Barn in downtown Chattanooga. The Chattanooga Market will host Some Like it Hot Firehouse Chili cookoff this Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. This annual contest will feature chili from five participating fire halls in the Chattanooga area, with all proceeds benefiting MDA. Tickets are now on sale for Chattanooga Downtown Partnership's Breakfast with Santa, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, at The Chattanoogan Hotel on Broad Street. There are two seatings available, the first from 8:30-9:45 a.m., and the second from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Guests will enjoy a breakfast buffet, chilly science fun from the Creative Discovery Museum Science Theatre and a delightful musical show by our famous singing Santa.
