County Commission Passes Resolution Requesting Documentation From WWTA posted November 19, 2008 The Hamilton County Commission passed a resolution Wednesday requesting the Hamilton County Water Wastewater Treatment Authority (WWTA) provide a complete copy of any and all documents detailing and itemizing the legal expenses incurred and paid by the WWTA during the past 12 months. The resolution stated that the county attorney will institute "any and all legal proceeding necessary to obtain said documentation" if the WWTA fails or refuses to provide the documentation within 10 days of receiving the commission's request. The board passed the resolution 7-1. Commissioner John Brooks was out sick today. County Mayor Claude Ramsey recommended the commission pass the resolution. He stated that he had talked to the chairman of the WWTA board Wednesday morning, and the chairman told County Mayor Ramsey that he had provided the commission with all the information he had. |
