Spiegelhalter To Aid Lookout Industries In Work For German Firms

Lookout Industries has employed the services of Adolf Spiegelhalter to serve as international sales coordinator, primarily to develop marketing with German automotive-baseed customers, General Manager Robert Lotufo said.

Mr. Spiegelhalter was born and raised near Nurenburg, Germany, and speaks the language fluently. He was educated and worked as a mechanical engineer in Germany before coming to the US more than 40 years ago.

Mr. Spiegelhalter has worked in production machining, foundry patterns, casting molds and injection molds. He was instrunental in the development of several investment casting foundries in the Southeast, and retired from Toolcraft Mold Company, which he started himself.

He mainains communication with friends and family in Germany, and he travels there regularly.


Mr. Spiegelhalterf will work in cojunction with Ron Tucker in sales, and with Mr. Lotufo to locate and develop vendors and subcontractors whose needs can be a good fit for the services the firm provides.

Mr. Lotufo said, "We are excited to have Adolf on board. He has been a mentor to many small businessmen in this community for years. I think it is a natural synergy to have him bridging the gap between German and American manufacturers for us, and we look forward to building a strong base of customers from Volkwagen and their suppliers."
