She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 21 years.
She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Jean Stewart Houston; one brother, George Robert Houston; six sisters, Gloria J. Horton, Charlotte A. (Willie C.) Jones, Retha (Otis) Jackson, Nelinda Goodwin, Charlena N. Williams, all of Chattanooga and Sherry (Marvin) Anderson of Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at noon in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
