Evelyn Rodgers Sherlin, 79, of East Ridge, died on Friday, November 21, 2008 in an area health care facility.
Mrs. Sherlin retired from Miller Brothers Department Store and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Frank B. Sherlin; son, Larry E. Sherlin, Ringgold; four grandchildren, Fletcher Sherlin, Vance Sherlin, Dolan Sherlin and Khalil Arman, brother, Glen Rodgers, Chattanooga; sister, Ruth Underwood, Daytona Beach, Fl.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
