Carol Jean Johnson, 69, of Ooltewah, Tn., died on Thursday, November 20, 2008 in a local hospital.
She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Campbell.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Johnson; two sons, David Johnson and his wife Shannon of Wylie, Tx., and Keith Johnson and his wife Cheryl of Tijeras, N.M.; four grandchildren, Adria and Taylor Johnson of Wylie, Tx., and Brandon and Mckensie Johnson of Tijeras, N.M.; two brothers, James Campbell and his wife Laura of Blue Jay, Ca., and Joseph Campbell and his wife Gail of Tustin, Ca.; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Albert Baker, Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58, Harrison, Tn. 37341.
Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
