Laverne B. Taylor, 82, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, November 20, 2008.
Laverne was a loving mother, grandmother, a wonderful cook and winemaker. She was the wife of the late Donald F. Taylor.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicki (Arthur) Chambers, Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Kris (Jeff) Smith, Hixson, Tammy (Greg) Woodal, Sale Creek, Greg (Bridgett) Chambers, Soddy-Daisy and Jeff Chambers, Chattanooga; three great-grandchildren, Tabitha Harwood, Tiffany Woodal and Emma Chambers.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1777 White Oak Road, with Thomas Rooks III officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Kingdom Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses, White Oak Congregation, 1777 White Oak Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37405.
