Two Former Lookouts Named To Topps Rookie All-Star Team

Jay Bruce
First baseman Joey Votto and outfielder Jay Bruce have been named to the Topps Rookie All-Star team.

Votto played the season for the 2006 Chattanooga Lookouts; Bruce played 16 games for the 2007 Lookouts.

Chicago Cubs catcher Geovany Soto has already been selected at the NL Rookie of the Year by the Baseball Writers Association of America. Third baseman Evan Longoria was the BBWAA's selection for the AL Rookie of the Year.

Of the 30 Major League teams, the Cincinnati Reds had two players selected. No other club had more than one player.
