The Tennessee Department of Transportation advises that on Wednesday the contractor will be paving and installing pavement marking at the intersection of Shallowford Road and Lee Highway in Hamilton County. The work will begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day until it is complete.
Although one lane of traffic will be maintained for the majority of the time, there may be times when the intersection is temporarily blocked while paving or pavement marking is being installed.
Officers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be available to assist flaggers with traffic.
Congestion is expected, and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
