Brown International Academy, IB Candidate School, is an elementary school with a global perspective. On Friday from 7-9 a.m., Brown will host its third Community Coffee.
These events are scheduled on the first Friday of every month and are open to the public. Community members and current and prospective parents are invited to come in, ask questions, and tour the school. The Brown International Academy News Crew will also broadcast during this time.
"Great things are going on in the public schools in Hamilton County," says IB Curriculum Coordinator Alicyn Wilkey. "One of our greatest challenges is getting the good news out to the public and having the school open at a regular time each month provides an opportunity for us to showcase the learning that is taking place in our building. We are so proud of what goes on here each and every day."
Applications for the HCDE magnet schools are also available at the school. Other tour times for prospective parents are Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m. Please call the school for an appointment.
