Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park invites visitors to meet author Perry Short on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center. Mr. Short will be available from noon to 4 p.m. to sign and answer questions about his new book Generation of Warriors.
Generation of Warriors is a civil war novel that follows the lives of five men who become entangled in the 1863 Campaign for Chattanooga. The story is filled with many details of life on the front line and at home during one of the great campaigns of the civil war.
