The North Chattanooga Council of the Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for individuals running for the District 1 seat on the Chattanooga City Council. Candidates will be allowed to share their views on issues in the district and will answer questions from the audience.
Candidates who have qualified for the race include Incumbent Linda Bennett, Joe Graham and Deborah Scott. District 1 includes the following precincts: Lookout Valley 1 & 2, Moccasin Bend, Mountain Creek 1,2 & 4, North Chattanooga 2 and Northwoods 2 & 5. Early voting begins on February 11 and ends on February 26. The election will be held on March 3.
