Julie Baumgardner of First Things First will speak to UTC ElderScholars on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. in the Lookout Mountain Room of the UTC University Center. Anyone 55 years and older is invited to attend.
First Things First is "a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families in Hamilton County, through education, collaboration, and mobilization," according to the organization's website. This is a "community resource that collaborates with and is supported by a broad cross-section of community organizations, groups, and individuals."
Before the meeting begins on Jan. 13, join the UTC ElderScholars at the University Center for lunch. Plan to gather in the cafeteria at noon, look for the ElderScholars sign on the table.
