Chattanooga’s Live Music Scene: Common Ground

Ok, if you want some rock and roll, played loud and proud, then Common Ground is for you. Doug, Ashley Crashley, Roger and Tracy rock it out with songs by southern artists, like Skynyrd, and rock icons like Zeppelin, Nugent and Whitesnake. They play all around town, but most often can be found at Rider’s Bar And Grill on Lee Highway at Airport Road.

Rider’s is a pretty cool place, with plenty of free parking, bike parking, a good grill, and cold beverages. Be advised: it can be rowdy and loud and everybody seems to know everybody. It’s a biker bar, and they like to have fun. Bikers are a great bunch, always ready to contribute to almost any charitable cause, and always ready for a good get-together. If the rest of the population gave to charitable causes the way bikers do, the world would be a much better place. Don’t let the loud Harley’s, tattoos and biker attire fool you – even the crustiest biker has a soft heart when it comes to helping out a child in need, a fallen comrade, or a family having tough times.

The frontman for this band, Craig, generates enough energy during a show to light Las Vegas. No elevator music here folks – just good old-fashioned rock and roll. Check out their website at click here.

Just 105 days until Riverbend. Not that I am counting, but that is what it is. That’s all I have to say about that. Well, not really. The Riverbend website is up and running and the site is located here click here.
