The Eastgate Senior Activity Center, operated by the City of Chattanooga’s Department of Education Arts & Culture, is sponsoring several motor coach excursions in coming months.
The first excursion is to the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC on July 7 and 8. The price includes a night at the Inn on the Biltmore Estate, a chef’s breakfast buffet, admission to the Biltmore house, gardens, winery and River Bend Farm, dinner at the Golden Corral Restaurant, and transportation. Cost is $245 per person, double occupancy.
The second excursion will be to the Jack Daniels Distillery and Miss Mary Bobo’s on Aug. 4. Participants will tour the Jack Daniels distillery and enjoy a family-style meal at Miss Mary Bobo’s. The price includes transportation, meal and tour. The cost is $40 per person, no refunds.
The group will tour the Atlanta Botanical Gardens on Sept. 8. The tour includes lunch and a tour of Atlanta’s Botanical Gardens. The price cncludes transportation, lunch and admission. The cost is $42 per person, no refunds.
On Oct. 6 the group will go on a Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, Ga.
Participants will get up close and personal with animals from the wild as a safari bus tours the fields. The price includes transportation, lunch and admission. The cost is $48 per person, no refunds.
The group will explore Pigeon Forge, Tenn. on Nov. 3-4. The trip includes a tour of Bush Foods Cannery and a show at the Smith Family Dinner Show. The price includes transportation, overnight accommodations, deluxe breakfast at the motel, the dinner and show, and admission to the cannery tour. The cost is $140 per person single occupancy, $110 per person double occupancy, and $95 per person triple occupancy.
On Dec. 5, the group will travel to Nashville to see the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. The trip includes the show and shopping at the Opry Mall. The cost is $90 per person, no refunds.
