Glenveigh Medical, LLC, announced it has relocation to Chattanooga.
The firm has named a new board of directors and scientific advisory board, as well as revealed a strategic alliance with Spartanburg S.C.-based Norgenix Pharmaceuticals.
Norgenix has also made a multi-million dollar investment in Glenveigh, officials said.
Glenveigh is a specialty medical company whose product pipeline includes drugs, surgical devices, instruments, and diagnostics for obstetrics and related fields.
Dr. Dave Adair, chairman and chief science officer of Glenveigh Medical, said, “Advancing obstetrics is our goal. We provide innovative solutions in pregnancy health to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
“Our products may help a patient in suburban Seattle or rural Africa – we aim to increase the quality of life for both mom and baby through the products we bring to market.
”Glenveigh Medical recently relocated its headquarters to Chattanooga from the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. We are very pleased with our decision to relocate Glenveigh Medical to Chattanooga. We have recently hired two senior executives, a vice president of operations and vice president of marketing, who are relocating to the Chattanooga area with their families.”
Since its founding in 2002, Glenveigh Medical has had the support of a strong board of directors and guidance from its scientific advisory board comprised of leading physicians and scientists, it was stated.
