Guthrie's On Lookout Mountain Exceeds Expectations
by Bruce Bowden
posted June 30, 2009

I wrote an article a couple of weeks ago about the newest business on Lookout Mountain, Guthrie’s Restaurant. Well, they were a week later in opening that planned, but they did open on the 24th and, boy, is the turn-out great.

I’ve had the chance to eat there twice since the opening, and have been extremely pleased with both purchases.

The fried chicken with sauce is awesome, but since my wife can’t have anything but grilled, we went that route also. Extremely good. Plus, I loved the cole slaw and Texas toast.

Believe me, I’m not being paid to endorse this new eatery. I’m just glad to have something locally that we can enjoy.

I’m sure you’ll find Guthrie's a great place to feed your family. If you find something that needs attention, I will bet that the management will work hard to see that your needs are met.

Thanks, Guthries. Welcome to Lookout Mountain.
