The Third District House race by attorney Chuck Fleischmann has over $200,000 on hand, officials said.
The Chattanooga attorney loaned $100,000 to the campaign earlier.
Officials said he later made another infusion into the campaign fund matching some collections.
The campaign raised over $56,000 in just a week recently - not counting the candidate's contributions, it was stated.
He is among the Republican candidates seeking the seat being vacated by Rep. Zach Wamp.
