Norma Gaye Vines, 71, of Cleveland, died on Thursday, July 2, 2009 in a local hospital.
She was born January 15, 1938 in Greeneville, Tn., to the late Roscoe Lee Sheffey and Vergie B. McIntosh Floyd.
She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church in Cleveland.
Her husband, Ira Lee Vines Sr., and son, Lee Vines Jr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela LeClair of Fernandina Beach, Fl.; Angela (Larry) Vlansit of Soddy Daisy; Cheryl Hill of Cleveland; sister, Susan (Mike) Kinsey of McDonald; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, at 10 a.m. in the Valley View Chapel with Rev. Larry Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn.
