UTC's Upward Bound program serves low-income, potential first generation college students at local high schools. This long-running program provides supplemental academic assistance, educational and career guidance, and cultural enrichment activities to help participating students develop the skills necessary to succeed in high school and college. Classes and tutoring sessions are offered throughout the academic year, and students are encouraged to attend diverse presentations given by local community-based organizations.
