AT&T Operator For 30 Years

Gladys Hayes Hinch, 74, of East Ridge, died on Thursday 2, 2009.
She was a native of Dillon, S.C. She was retired from AT&T as an operator after 30 years of service and worked as a cashier at Golden Gallon for 20 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Hinch Hobbs and her husband, Tim, of Chattanooga; a grandson, Jonathan Hobbs of Chattanooga; brother, Cecil Hayes of Chattanooga; sisters, Carolyn Sawyer of Aynor, S.C., and Betty Sue Moody of Lakeview, S.C.; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
