The Chattanooga Technology Council’s Technology in Healthcare Panel Discussion will be held on July 28. The panel will consist of leaders in the healthcare industry from various perspectives including large and small hospitals, physician’s practices, long-term care and health insurance plans.
Networking will be held from 5-6 p.m. and the panel discussion will be from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Chattanoogan Hotel and Conference Center, Ballroom 1 & 2.
Panelists will share how technology is shaping their business strategies as well as enabling operational and financial efficiencies such as detecting fraud and abuse, optimizing billing and claims submissions and payment processes, and providing point-of-care clinical decision support, ultimately resulting in better health and an improved quality of care.
The moderator will be Adnane Khalil, CTO, Shared Health. The panel will include Laurene Vamprine, CIO, Erlanger Hospital Nick Coussoule, senior vice president and chief information and strategic technology officer, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Terry Leonard, senior vice president and chief information officer, Life Care Centers of America, Dr. Eric Conn, The Chattanooga Heart Institute, Lisa Childers, assistant chief executive officer, SkyRidge Medical Center and Kimberly Lewis, chief information officer, HCA TriStar Division.
The event is free for Chattanooga Technology Council Members. Non-members may attend for $20 and affiliate members may attend for $10.
Registration is available online. The reservation deadline is July 20.
