Killian Says All American Taxi Operating Illegally posted July 9, 2009 Attorney Bill Killian, representing Millennium Cab Company, told the city Transportation Board on Thursday that the All American Taxi Cab company is operating illegally. Attorney Killian said All American's owner, Randy VanHooser, earlier obtained an operating certificate, but he said he does not own any cabs. He said the taxi cabs operated by All American are in the name of Scenic City Tours, whose registered agent is Derrick Bobbitt of Keith Street in Chattanooga. Attorney Killian told the board, "All American has a certificate, but no cabs. Scenic City Tours has cabs, but no certificate. That's certainly illegal." The board asked its investigator, James Headrick, to look into the charges and report back at the next meeting in August. Attorney Killian presented several documents, including business licenses and insurance coverage pertaining to All American. |
