2 Workshops Set On Proposed Corridor K posted July 10, 2009 The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will conduct Public Workshops on July 20 and 21 to discuss the Proposed US-64 (SR-40) Corridor K project from west of the Ocoee River to SR-68 near Ducktown. These meetings will be held from 5-8 p.m. in order to provide the public an opportunity to participate in the project development process. The workshops will include a presentation and a question and answer period. There will be various displays, maps and handouts presenting information on project history, study schedule, community and environmental resources, and potential corridors. The public is invited to provide comments during the meeting and will be given the opportunity to make their opinions known concerning the need for the project and potential effects. Representatives of TDOT and the Corridor K Citizens Resource Team will be available to provide information and take comments.
