Loose Cannon Gallery Names Terran Anderson Venue Director
posted July 22, 2009

Chattanooga artist Terry Cannon has selected Terran Anderson to coordinate events and oversee the operations of his Southside event hall and art gallery, Loose Cannon Gallery.

Mrs. Anderson brings to Loose Cannon extensive experiences in community relations and special events. The Lee University graduate has a degree in telecommunications and theater and also serves as the Young Professional Association of Chattanooga’s special events co-chair, volunteer event planner with the Moccasin Bend Girl Scouts, as well as a volunteer in the children’s ministry at the Chattanooga Vineyard.

Mrs. Anderson said, “Working at Loose Cannon allows me to collaborate with various types of people, whether it’s helping a bride materialize her lifelong dream wedding, putting together a quirky birthday party, or working alongside some of the most well-respected non-profits in Chattanooga to help raise money and awareness. Every event is something fresh, something new, and I thrive on the ability to come in every day, and say ‘What’s next?’”

“In a short time already, Terran has helped us grow the business as well as reach out to the community and attract more events,” said Mr. Cannon. “She brings an energy and enthusiasm that people gravitate toward. And she has also been instrumental in coordinating creative events for our clients.”

“Loose Cannon is by far the most unique event hall in Chattanooga,” said Mrs. Anderson. “Depending on the client’s taste, it can be transformed from a simple, classic space to something funky and avant-garde. No matter what your style, Loose Cannon fits.”

Loose Cannon Gallery will host a slew of events in the coming months, including YPAC’s Cirque Nouveau, DANCE: The Hunger Fight, and the Back Row Film Series feature of Tableland.

Mr. Cannon developed the Off Main Art Collective, a turn-of-the-century warehouse on Rossville Avenue that now houses numerous small businesses, artist studios and galleries including Mr. Cannon’s own art gallery and event hall, Loose Cannon Gallery.
