Covenant outscored the Lady Lions 30-28 in kills, 54-53 in digs, and 9-4 in total team blocks. However, the:Lady Scots also recorded 3 times as many total errors in the match.
Sophomore middle-hitter Erica Adams supplied the Lady Scots with 9 of their total 30 kills while also contributing 3 service aces.
Piedmont's attack, on the other hand, was very well-balanced as they featured 4 players with 4 or more kills.
The Lady Scots will be home on Friday facing off against Bluefield College at 7:00PM. Saturday the Lady Scots will be visited by UV- Wise and Huntingdon College at 1:00PM and 5:00PM.
