Chattanooga Beer and Wrecker Board attorney Ken Fritz told the Beer Board on Thursday that Chancery Court Judge Howell Peoples has heard the appeal from Sticky Fingers Restaurant over the board’s decision to suspend the restaurant’s license for three days after it failed a compliance check in 2008.
The decision is under advisement, Mr. Fritz said, and it is not known when the final ruling will be released.
Big River Grill and Blue Water Grille have also appealed their three-day suspensions to Chancery Court but those cases have not been heard, Mr. Fritz said. Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant Group owns the two side-by-side restaurants downtown.
Officer John Collins told the board the recent training provided by TDOT for class C and recovery wrecker companies was well attended by representatives of those companies on the city’s rotation list.
The board had no beer license or wrecker license violations on the agenda.
